Official Rules and Regulations
By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants Dolfin International the right to publish submitted photos, child’s name and city on Miss Uglies website and/or marketing materials.
Contestants must be wearing a Dolfin Uglies practice suit in the photo with no other brands pictured.
The Miss Uglies Contest is judged by the Dolfin sales and marketing team. Photos are to be judged with no discrimination towards sex, race or age. All decisions are final.
The Dolfin staff reserves the right to refuse any photograph that they define as unacceptable. Photos with nudity or children depicted in a derogatory or dangerous position will not be accepted.
If a professional photo is submitted to our contests, Dolfin will not be held harmful. It is recommended that parent or guardian receive the rights to use the photo prior to contest submission.
Deadline to submit photos is TBD.
Winners will be announced 1-2 weeks after contest ends. Winners will be notified via email, and prizes will be released within 2 weeks of announcement.
Our contests are void where prohibited by law. The contestants assume the total responsibility of knowing that they reside in a state that prohibits photo contests and are subject to any local, state or individual legal determinations.
Mail in submissions will be subject to the following guidelines:
1. We are not responsible for lost or damaged photos.
2. Mailed in photos must be no larger than 5” x 7”.
3. Photos will be returned if a self-addressed stamped enveloped is included with the mail in entry. Winners’ photos will not be returned, due to publishing use.
4. Mailed in pictures must be accompanied by the following items which will allow us to place the photos in the proper categories.
a. Contestant name, age, city, name of parent or legal guardian, contact email and phone number.
Please ensure your information is completed accurately.
Dolfin cannot be responsible for photos being placed incorrectly into wrong Miss Uglies categories. Categories are set by child’s age at time of entry.
Dolfin International reserves the right to resize and/or crop winning photos to fit publication guidelines.
No purchase necessary. Purchasing does not increase your chances of winning.
Contest is subject to all federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations.
